Heart Connecting eMovieCards - Membership 1 Year Old

A year ago I was "waiting for inspiration" for my next creative endeavor. It is always a time of excited anticipation as well as the discomfort of not knowing until I know! This new leg of our business was totally unexpected, but when I saw it laid out in front of me I was thrilled. It seems that several times a year, one being just before the Spring and Easter Season, I, like most people go through a time of renewal and reorganization at a higher level. When I "accidentally" came across Bobbie Osborne's Big Shoes Series and Granny Wack Series photographic characters, I knew in a heartbeat I had to do something with her delightful photo characters.

I started to download them off of the professional photo site that I work from and instantly, the Big Shoes Dream'n Movie literally wrote itself over the next several hours. As soon as I had most of the new movie fleshed out, I immediately wrote Bobbie, who I had worked with before on the Teddy Stallard and the Blue Ribbon Movies, to show her what I had quickly created, offering a contract. She agreed and so began a new movie, or so I thought. By the second day of working on this project, I received an ecard from a close friend just to connect with me and tell me she missed and loved me.

An ecard ... what JOY! I saw instantly how many different eMovieCards I could write as Bobbie's Big Shoe darlings spoke to me. It was the most amazing, fun process I've enjoyed so far. I laid all of the Big Shoes photos out on my desk and let them speak to me. After the Big Shoes Movie and eMovieCards I moved to the Women of Today Movie and eMovieCards with the amazing musical artistry of Faith Rivera, whose CDs we carry in our online store, and then on to the Granny Wack Movie and eMovieCards.

There are those times in our business my husband and I look at each other and say, "What the heck are we doing?" This was one of those times because Granny Wack was such a diversion from anything we'd ever done... and yet, at the foundation of all that I write about is the hope that what I have to say will "lighten people up!" And laughter is one of best ways I know to do just that.

So this is our first birthday to our first eMovieCard Membership launch. We now have 141 eMovieCards in a variety of "Reach out and touch" Categories and they are ALL my favorites. We have so many more coming that I have to work with myself to just do "one-at-a-time" - so stay tuned ... more categories, more varieties are on their way!
